The Water Quality Monitoring of Regional Rivers project took place over three project years, from 2014 to March 2017. Through this project, NAACAP and its partners were able to collect water quality data on a regular basis from 77 sample sites. The completion of Year 3 of the project is also the end of three years of funding for the project, but it is hoped that future funding will be secured so that continued water monitoring can take place to build on the volume of available water quality data for the region, identify changes over time, and develop a stronger understanding of what water quality is typical of the Northeast Avalon region.
More information on all three years of this project can be found on our Recent Projects page. The latest report, summarizing three years of data collection, can also be found there, or here.
