There are currently positions available for summer employment with NAACAP. NAACAP will be hiring an Environmental Assistant, the details of which are as follows:
The Environmental Assistant position will be responsible for tasks related to NAACAP’s current projects throughout the Northeast Avalon Region. This will involve a combination of office and field work related to water quality monitoring and coastal erosion. Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office, have experience with collecting and recording data, be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
This position is for 10 weeks, 35 hours a week at $10/hour, from June 23-August 29, 2014. Applicants must have been registered as a full time student in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full time basis in the next academic year.
