“Water, water everywhere, only if we share”
This is the slogan for the UN’s International Year of Water Cooperation, capturing the global necessity of water as a natural resource yet simultaneously advising that cooperation is also needed if we are to meet the world’s water needs in a sustainable way.
NAACAP also believes in cooperation, and we support World Water Day 2013 and all global, continental, provincial and regional efforts to conserve water and promote sustainable water use.
What can you do to help recognize and promote water cooperation and conservation? Maybe there are things in NAACAP’s Freshwater Joys that you can do to help. Regardless, be sure to get the word out there by sharing web resources about water conservation and World Water Day 2013 on facebook and twitter!
